PLEB Talks is the world’s only comedy think tank - the platform for comedians to dispense their unconventional wisdom on life’s mightiest topics. Unlike traditional lectures that are useful, PLEB Talks are reckless, fuelled by comedy and intellectually… worth nothing.

The idea started as a series of filmed presentations by comedians. This evolved to live comedy nights in unusual locations – schools, churches and auction halls. Good reviews then lead to a tour of UK festivals including Bestival, Wilderness and Secret Garden Party.

Nish Kumar was the 'resident academic host', and 'speakers' included Rich Fulcher, Simon Munnery, John Kearns and Sara Pascoe plus many more.

I co-created PLEB Talks with Fosters Best Newcomer Nominee Ben Target; produced the live events; applied successfully for Ideas Tap funding and pitched the concept as a radio show to BBC Radio 4 and as an animated web series for Channel 4's Comedy Blaps.
