Buy Work‘Terrorist’ sues Bruno
The guy who was portrayed as a terrorist in the Bruno film is sueing Sacha Baron Cohen (for £70m!!!)
From the looks of this video, looks like Sacha might be in a bit of legal trouble…
However, the same dodgy and misleading editing occured in the Borat film.
People tried to sue back then but they all waived their legal rights when they signed the release forms.
I love Sacha’s work but wish his interviews were more genuine and didn’t mis-represent the interviewees.
In Bruno, the scene where he exposes the mother of a child-actor is shocking, but what Sacha does with other people is the same-
he exploits people who are unaware of what they’re getting into and causes a detrimental impact on their quality of life….
